Get Storm

First the server, on a machine you own. Then the apps, on every device you use. The installer can set up both, and pair your phone at the end.

The server

Linux and macOS

An interactive installer: the server and app, a Runtime Host for agents, or everything. It shows its whole plan, every sudo step included, before changing anything. Debian and Ubuntu use Storm’s signed apt repository; macOS gets the release, checked against its checksums.

install
curl -fsSL https://dewanshdt.github.io/Storm/install.sh | sh

Windows

In PowerShell — as administrator if you want the Runtime Host. The server runs as you at logon, with your notes in %USERPROFILE%\Storm. Not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn.

powershell

Run either again any time to upgrade, pair a device or uninstall — your notes are always kept. By hand, firewalls and every option: Install the server.

  • Web

    Served by Storm Server

Bundled with the server. Open your Storm server URL in a browser.

Default port 8484 after storm-server up. On first open it pairs itself with the server and asks you to set your Storm's password.

Then

Open the web app or one of the apps and pair it: the first device sets your Storm’s password, and every device after that finds your Storm on your network. The Quickstart walks through the rest, agents and AI apps included.
